Tiktok is where the best book recommendations are, and this is where I found this absolute gem of a book I’ll be reviewing today .
I stumbled upon The Ending I Want by Samantha Towle on Tiktok where it showed a excerpt from the book and let’s just say I was hooked from that moment on and it was all I could think about whilst I was in the middle of another book , I literally couldn’t focus that’s how highly anticipated I was to read this book.

About the Book

So it’s been almost a month since I read this book, and honestly I could cry and how much I loved it and how much i miss the characters . I loved the two main characters from the moment we meet Liam and Taylor I was obsessed. I loved their chemistry the way they were written they felt like real people with real flaws and in my opinion that’s not easy to do as in some books the characters are just too perfect and have everything figured out .
There was something so beautiful yet heartbreaking about the way they started their love story I’m not going to spoil anything but I will say that when we finally know for sure about Taylors cancer having returned it felt like I could finally breathe as for the duration of the book it hadn’t been confirmed only Taylor had a inkling that it returned.
I absolutely loved how strong , fearless, and passionate Taylor was for the things she loved. She loved her family and felt the guilt of what happened when she was 16 almost alter her destiny to Liam. God, I loved Liam he was just everything from the get-go . I wondered how Samantha could write someone who would complement Taylor as she was such a strong character, but she wrote Liam to be understanding, spontaneous, incredibly romantic, and most importantly, Taylors anchor. Not only did Taylor fall in love with Liam Hunter, but anyone who reads The Ending I Want will.
Before reading The Ending I Want I’ve only ever read a couple of Singular POV ( Point of View) books which I didn’t enjoy at all and when I was reading this gem the story was just perfect for singular POV everything about it worked and I even went on to read Unsuitable by Samantha Towle which was singular POV and for that story it completely worked . Basically I’m saying if you normally has reservations for this type of book then don’t be I highly recommend giving it a go you won’t be disappointed and for the end of the book it switches to Liams POV.
I simply loved everything about this book . I wish I could experience this book again for the first time. If ever get the opportunity to read it again, i know I’d fall even more in love with everything about this book . Everything about it was perfect, the characters, the location, Liams friends ( would’ve loved a book on each of them) Liams grandfather just everything.
Basically I’m saying if you haven’t read this book already, then you need to your life is seriously missing reading The Ending I Want, and your life won’t be same once you’ve read it .
