Books are a perfect escape from life. I love a variety of genres but one of my favourites is a good old romance It always seems simple to fall in love. In this series that I\u00a0 can\u2019t wait to share with you the author has done an excellent job of highlighting a number areas from being a single parent , PTSD and childhood trauma and insecurity <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Flawless<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Rhett and Summers story, we slowly meet all the eatons by the end of the book. It wasn\u2019t until\u00a0 I was in the middle of this book did I truly realise that this book was a lot about people thinking they know you when actually they only see a version of you.

Rhett is this cool and carefree bull rider who jokes around on the surface, but beneath the facade is someone who wears his heart on his sleeve and is just little insecure inside.\u00a0 Summer brings out the part of him that it\u2019s okay to be a little vulnerable, and if people see that side of you, that it\u2019s okay .

I love how Rhett is also that for summer when we find out what happened to her all those years ago and all the\u00a0 pieces of the story start to fit together.\u00a0 And then we see\u00a0 rhett fighting for her in the most eaton way ever. And I definitely believe that Rhett definitely fell head over heals for summer when he meets her for the first time in that boardroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heartless<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n


In Rhett and Summers story we see Cade as kind of the fun police who is all work and being a strict but fair father to luke and in this book we see another side of him and I really liked how Willa brings that out in him. <\/p>\n\n\n\n


I loved all the books in this set but I really loved these two and their humour . When willa first meets Cade in that coffee shop and I think that really sets the light-heartedness of the book. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Normally I\u2019m not a fan of characters already having children, but elsie did an incredible job making these characters so lovable it was hard not to love them and this story<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Powerless<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n


There was a lot of will they won\u2019t they for these two leading up to them officially getting together, but boy, was it worth it.

Sloane has been In love with jasper for most of her life and its not until she\u2019s about to walk down the Isle does our dear jasper realise he might also be in love with her too and her fiancee might just be a giant book baddie .

Elsie wrote Jasper\u2019s character brilliantly. There was so much in-depth talk of the tragedy that shaped him into the jasper we see in the book, and Sloanes’ character really compliments Jasper perfectly . I just love how Sloane is Jasper\u2019s person she knows him better than he knows himself at times during this book <\/p>\n\n\n\n


Sometimes love really does heal the toughest of wounds .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reckless<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n


In Summer <\/strong>and Rhetts story we see Winter as this kind of ice queen but that\u2019s the version she has been conditioned to be but in her story we see her breakaway from the version others made her to be and I think a huge part of that is down to Mr Theo silva <\/p>\n\n\n\n


This book has to be my second favourite in the set. As soon as I began reading Reckless I was completely hooked I just loved how Theo chipped away at the icy winter and by the end of the book broken relationships were finally on track and Winter was the Winter that Theo always saw her to be. <\/p>\n\n\n\n


In Rhetts story we saw Theo as a bit of a joker trying to be just like his dad but what he desperately wanted was something of his own and to stop living in someone else\u2019s shadow and elsie did a fantastic job of writing Theos characters evolution.\u00a0 I just loved their little family <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hopeless<\/strong>

The final book of this life changing set and in Hopeless we meet Beau and Bailey and their road to happiness.\u00a0 Beau is the one eaton we hear very little about. In Powerless we hear Beau has been burnt badly whilst on a special mission which by Hopeless we know he\u2019s still recovering\u00a0 from.

Beau and Bailey meet in chestnut springs beloved bar and from the moment they meet its evident there\u2019s a spark their as much as they\u2019d both like to deny it

There love story might not being the most conventional but for them I think it really worked. And it fit their characters , this book definitely was the slow burn of the series. <\/p>\n\n\n\n


Elsie did a fantastic job of writing Beau\u2019s character , from the beginning of the book elsie really wrote into detail about Beau\u2019s challenges with adjusting to life after special ops , that last but fateful mission and living with PTSD.

I Just wanted to give Bailey a big hug when I was reading about how the town and people looked\u00a0 and treated at her because of who she was related to and that is something I could identify with. Your last name doesn\u2019t make you the same as your family , I loved Beau for showing Bailey that there still is good in the world and that together they can overcome anything

I can\u2019t rave about this series enough it pressed on matters that necessarily we wouldn\u2019t even know how to comprehend or begin to understand and that is where Elsie\u2019s writing is separated from the rest .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I can\u2019t wait to read more books by elsie. This will definitely will be the first of many books I review of elsie silvers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
